Maria Cristina Messa is the New President of the Balzan Foundation “Prize”

Maria Cristina Messa was appointed the new President of the Board of the International Balzan Foundation “Prize” in Milan.

Full Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy, University of Milano-Bicocca, where she served as Rector, in 2021-2022 she was Minister of University and Research of the Italian Republic.

Member of the Board of the International Balzan Foundation “Prize” since 2022, Professor Messa succeeds Professor Alberto Quadrio Curzio who remains with the Foundation “Prize” as the Board Member in charge of IinteR-La+B and Annual Balzan Lecture activities.
