On 22 November in Rome, in conjunction with the collateral events of the awards ceremony for the 2018 Balzan Prizes, the first issue of the Balzan Papers, a multi-disciplinary anthology of the International Balzan Foundation, edited by Salvatore Veca, was presented.
The new publication aims to synthesize and divulge the multi-faceted outcome of the Foundation’s activities, giving an account of the continuity of the Prizewinners’ speeches, and providing a platform for papers, proceedings from seminars, interviews, contributions and in-depth investigations by the young researchers involved in the Prizewinners’ research projects. The Balzan Papers collection thus stands as a testimonial to the enormous heritage of culture and knowledge that has grown over the years.
The present volume, as well as those that will follow, is published by Olschki of Florence, and can be purchased through it sales channels.
