Per i risultati ottenuti nel promuovere Arabidopsis come organismo modello per la genetica molecolare delle piante. L’uso di Arabidopsis ha avuto implicazioni di amplissima portata, sia nella ricerca di base che nelle potenziali applicazioni, per la scienza dei vegetali.

The Arabidopsis Book (TAB) is a new mode of communication between researchers and a new model for scientific publishing. Over 50 chapters of this electronic book have been compiled, each reviewing an important and interesting aspect of the plant Arabidopsis thaliana in detail, with reference to what is known in other plants and in other kingdoms.
